24% Biomimetic lipids: In a synergistic lipid blend, ceramides, vegan cholesterol and free fatty acids form a protective layer to support skin barrier function, hydration and resilience.  Ethyl-linoleic acid, an essential fatty acid that acne-prone skin tends to be deficient in, regulates sebum production by stopping enzymes from converting testosterone into DHT. Phytosphingosine carries anti-microbial qualities, defusing inflammatory situations as part of the skin's natural defense system.

 

4% Pre and post-biotic microbiome complex: Promotes good bacteria, restoring the balance – and your faith in skincare. 

 

4.5% Natural Moisturizing Factor (NMF) complex: Plant-derived squalane and a blend of 11 amino acids. The former locks in hydration without clogging pores. The latter maintains moisture, increasing the skin’s water content and elasticity. Both crush TEWL (transepidermal water loss), so your skin’s never thirsty. 

 

2% Red clover extract

Amazing!

I love this moisturizer. It soothes my skin and allows me to use tretinoin without irritation. It doesn’t break me out - I’ve actually noticed less breakouts since using. My only tip is to consider adding a small spatula to allow for more hygienic removal from the jar container. I would pay an extra dollar or two for this!

I have eczema and most moisturizers either burn or don't provide enough hydration. This one does both - deeply moisturizes and soothes irritation. The prebiotics seem to really help my skin. Already ordered my second jar!
